About
For me, motion design isn't just a career, it's a lifestyle defined by momentum. As a triathlete, movement fuels my imagination. It is within this physical cadence that I find my flow state a place I like to call the [MagicZone]™
It's a state where intellect and instinct move in sync, allowing me to think with my head but create with my heart.
Before every emotion there is a thought and I believe that rhythm is the invisible force that drives thoughts to emotions. For example, you know why there is music in movies? To hint at what you should feel before you even know it. That instinct of converting thoughts to emotions is where my work begins.
But beyond the feeling, there is function. Being a motion designer also means having a responsibility to present a brand. Decoding its vision, values, and voice, and translating them into a purposeful story that is both clear and resonant. Understanding the functionality of media is logic and strategy. Making people feel something is art.
